Terms of service

Last updated 7 November 2026.

1. Who we are

RatingLeaks (the "service") is operated by Chess.sg Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). You can reach us through the contact page.

2. The service

RatingLeaks reads public chess games from Lichess and Chess.com, analyses them with the Stockfish chess engine on your own device, and shows you a report, a plan and training positions. The free scan is free. The full report and the Coach plan are paid.

3. Who can use it

You must be 16 or older to buy. Use RatingLeaks for your own games, or for games of players who have agreed to it (for example a student or your child). Only finished games are analysed. Never use RatingLeaks, or anything it shows, during a game in progress: that is cheating under the rules of both sites.

4. Payments

Purchases are processed by our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller of record for your order. It handles payment, invoices, receipts and sales tax or VAT where it applies. Its own terms also apply to the purchase. Prices are shown before you pay.

5. Refunds

See the refund policy. In short: if the report isn't useful to you, ask within 14 days for a full refund.

6. Your access key

After paying you get an access key, also sent with your receipt. Keep it private: anyone with the key can use what you paid for. We may switch off a key that is shared publicly or abused.

7. Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, resell it, or use it to collect other players' data in bulk. Don't use it in a way that breaks the terms of Lichess or Chess.com.

8. No guarantees

The analysis is automatic and statistical. It can be wrong, and rating gains are not guaranteed. The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Intellectual property

The RatingLeaks name, design and text belong to us. Your games belong to you and the sites they were played on. Stockfish and the other open-source parts are under their own licences (see About).

10. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If a change matters for paying customers, we'll show it on the site before it applies.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
